Licensing
Paying raises one number. How many computers you can connect to.
Five are free, and that is the full version — nothing is locked. Paying just lets you add more.
Work out your price
Five free, then $10 a computer per year
Above 20 computers the extra ones cost $5 instead of $10. You only pay the cheaper rate on the ones past 20, so adding a computer always costs a little more and never less.
Paying monthly instead of yearly costs 20% more. Running your own relay gets you 50% off — see below the calculator. All prices in US dollars.
| Machines | Paying yearly | Paying monthly (20% more) |
|---|---|---|
| 1–5 | Free | Free |
| 6–20 | $10 per machine per year | $1 per machine per month $12 a year |
| 21 and up | $5 per machine per year | $0.50 per machine per month $6 a year |
For example: 21 computers is $155 a year, or $15.50 a month if you pay monthly. 100 computers is $550 a year. Halve either figure if you run your own relay.
Run your own relay: 50% off
Every price above is halved. When your two computers can't reach each other directly, traffic goes through a relay — and that relay is the part that costs us money. Run your own and you pay half. How to set one up — free, about fifteen minutes, and worth reading first so you know what you are taking on.

Two things to fill in
There is no card payment yet. This form checks what you type, prices it, and shows you the result — it does not take money. It picks up the numbers from the calculator above, so change them up there if you need to.
Or just email [email protected] with your Account ID, how many computers, and yearly or monthly. Never send your account key.
How licensing works
Your Account ID is all we need. The app checks in about once an hour and gets back the number of computers you are allowed. There is no file to paste in and nothing to activate or deactivate on a device.
Going offline does not lock you out. If the check fails, the app keeps your current allowance for up to two weeks. A dropped connection — or a fortnight with no internet — will not cut you off in the middle of something.
Because it is tied to your account and not to a device, it follows you. Move your account to a new computer and your allowance comes with it.
| State | Machines you may pair |
|---|---|
| No licence | 5 — enforced by the client itself, on every platform |
| Licensed | The number mapped to your Account ID |
| Licensed, check failing, within 14 days | The last good number, unchanged |
| Licensed, check failing, past 14 days | Back to 5, until a check succeeds again |
| No account yet | 5 — there is nothing to ask about |
What paying does not change
Nothing else at all. Every feature works without paying — the command line, the desktop, files, port forwarding, all of it. Our shared relay is shared either way; if you need more from it, run your own. Free, about fifteen minutes.
Where to find your Account ID
In the app: Settings → Account → Copy Account ID. It looks like
4GNM-9908-0P7E-PN73-YD0V. It cannot be used to reach your computers, so it is
safe to share — you can even read it out over the phone.
Do not send your account key
The same screen can also show your account key. That one is the password to every computer you have paired — anyone holding it has full control, with nothing else needed. Nobody needs it to sell you a licence and nobody will ever ask for it. This form rejects it if you paste it by mistake.
Seller, refunds and tax
- Seller
- SENPRINTS LLC. Licences are sold and invoiced by SENPRINTS LLC.
- Licensing contact
- [email protected] — for quotes, invoices, purchase orders, and anything about an existing licence.
- Billing period
- Yearly by default. Monthly costs 20% more. Prices in US dollars.
- Refunds
- No refunds. You can use RelayKey fully on five computers before paying anything, so try it properly first.
- Tax
- Prices do not include tax, and RelayKey does not charge VAT.
Two things worth saying clearly
Refunds: that is our policy, not a statement about your rights. In some countries the law gives buyers rights a seller cannot take away, and nothing here asks you to give those up. If you think you are owed a refund, write to [email protected] and say so.
Tax: we do not charge VAT or collect tax for you. That does not mean no tax is due. Depending on where you are, you may owe tax on this purchase and have to report it yourself. Ask your accountant, not this page.
